As a distinguished graduate of Berklee College of Music, Boston, David Blitt received a world-class education in harmony, ear training, guitar skills as well as arranging and composition. David received Berklee's Professional Music Division Achievement Award for Outstanding Musicianship as well as the Louise McKinney scholarship two years in a row. David also performed as a featured instrumental soloist in Berklee’s prestigious Guitar Night Concert and received Berklee's yearly North American tour scholarship. David graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Berklee College of Music in 2015, securing a place on the Dean’s List each semester. Notable performances include playing electric guitar for Taiwanese Pop Stars Kevin Lin and Kay Huang at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts for over 1500 people. 

David excels in rock/metal, blues, pop and acoustic guitar including fingerpicking. David often plays guitar with the Blues & Soul Band, assisting in hosting the Sunday afternoon jam at the Blues Can in addition to writing and recording original music with his band ‘Return to One.’ When not working on original music, David assists in the delivery of the National Music Centre’s weekly Jam Club, School Programs as well as Summer Camps. An avid transcriber, David has transcribed for TrueFire the works of Yngwie Malmsteen, Greg Koch, Kenny Lee Lewis (Steve Miller Band), Sophie Lloyd (Machine Gun Kelly), Keb Mo, Martin Taylor and more. David has over 13 years of private music instruction experience and a degree in Biological Science from the University of Calgary. References and accreditation available upon request.
